The Ruf Rt 12 was introduced to the public at the 2004 at the Essen Motor Show being built on Porsche’s new 997 platform. The twin-turbocharged, engine was available in three configurations providing 530 bhp, 560 bhp or 650 bhp. In ultimate form the Rt 12 sits amongst some of the fastest production cars in the world, with a 0-60 time of 3.2 seconds and top speed of 219 mph. This phenomenal performance gives the Rt12 superior straight-line performance over the Ferrari Enzo, Porsche Carrera GT and Mercedes-McLaren SLR.
